- Your team-mate and you must make more points than your opponents in two teams of two players each.
- Play is divided between two sides; in one, your team melds, in the other, your opponent melds.
- Eventually, you will be able to take jokers from your opponents' melds if you play only on your side.
- There is a special joker called Pinella (2 clubs and spades) that can only be placed and taken by the two members of your team
- A special discard pile letting you put any card on top of it
