Story
You and your best friend are moving to Kredon, home to some of the best schools and universities in the country, so that you can continue your studies there. Kredon, however, is only known for one thing: ETERNUM, the virtual, hyper-reality MMORPG game that revolutionized technology a few years ago.
It becomes impossible to distinguish between the game and the real world with a neural implant that recreates the five senses. A network of thousands of servers connects all corners of Eternum: from colorful, magic-filled fantasy worlds to dense, foggy sci-fi cities, there is no place beyond reach.
There is, however, a darker side to this pretty facade: black markets, torture, rape, illegal content trafficking, unlawful assemblies, data theft... Eternum follows no rules.
For some reason, the government ignores this; there are no regulations or controls. According to some, it's because the game is highly addictive, others say it's because the market moves millions of dollars daily, some say those in power have been bribed, and others say... it's something else altogether.
What about you? How do you fit into this story?
