Endless Ocean Apk is the third installment in the Everblue series, which explores underwater worlds. This game focuses on exploring the game world and cataloging the animals that live there. Endless Ocean differs from its predecessors in that the traditional "game elements" mostly disappeared - whereas Everblue 2 had players search for treasure under the sea, Endless Ocean lets players explore at their own pace. Due to the game's freeform exploration without a central plot, the player is not required to search for these items in order to progress.
The full game world is only accessible in parts, unlike Aquanaut's Holiday. The boat can be moved freely around a map of the entire game world, but diving tours are limited. This allows the player to select which areas of the game world to access without having to wait for loading times; however, navigating between areas requires returning to the boat and using the map.
There are three levels of detail tracked for each animal species - no information, three small pieces of information, and three large pieces of information. In addition to fish, dolphins, whales, and sea lions, penguins and pelicans are also common. A variety of extra features are unlocked during the first few hours of gameplay, such as night diving, underwater cameras, and aquariums that the player can populate with animals they have encountered.
It also adds online multiplayer to the series, allowing players to play together via Nintendo's Wi-Fi Connect service. Instead of using the Wii system's built-in friend code, the game generates its own, requiring the player to maintain a separate friend list.
