Baba Is You is an award-winning puzzle game where you can choose the way you play. The rules themselves are present as blocks in every level. By manipulating those blocks, you can change the way the level works and cause surprising, unexpected outcomes! A simple block-pushing game can transform you into a rock, make patches of grass into hot obstacles, or even change the goal you need to attain.
There are more than 200 levels in the game that use the game's mechanics in a variety of ways. The player has to master the rules of the game and figure out clever ways to make the objects interact in the game world.
The game was originally created for the Nordic Game Jam 2017 and won. Baba Is You won both the Excellence in Design and Best Student Game awards at the Independent Games Festival 2018. Seumas McNally Grand Prize was among two other categories in which it was nominated for a finalist. Multimedia Fusion 2 by Clickteam was used to make the game.
