Neo Bomberman is a game developed for Neo-Geo Arcade hardware. The game was only available as a cartridge kit for the arcade-based MVS Neo-Geo hardware, as there was no version for the Neo-Geo CD or AES home consoles. This was the last arcade-released Bomberman game until Bombergirl in 2017.
Plot
Bagura invades Planet Bomber and kidnaps Pretty Bomber (possibly as a joke). Having rescued her, White Bomberman and Black Bomberman are sent to a pocket dimension from which they escape. A machine (presumably controlled by Bagura) and Atomic Bomber are pitted against Bomberman before they escape.
Gameplay
The goal can be revealed by using bombs to defeat enemies. A multiplayer mode is also available where players must defeat computers or other players to win the game.
